World Languages Program

World Languages seeks to introduce young students to a foreign language to promote listening skills and develop basic vocabulary necessary for conversation. In addition, World Language seeks to expand student awareness of the similarities and differences among people in foreign countries.

 

Select from Spanish or French as we bring back this enrichment program. 


Spanish is offered Wednesday OR Friday before school from 7:20-8:10 for 1st and 2nd graders as well as Tuesday OR Thursday before school for 3rd and 4th graders. French for 1st and 2nd graders is offered Tuesdays after school from 3:20-4:10 and French for 3rd and 4th graders is Wednesdays after school from 3:20-4:10. Classes start the week of 9/11/23 through the end of April. There will be no classes the week of Thanksgiving break. Cost is $200 per student for 28 classes.

 

Code of Conduct

To ensure that Lincoln PTO programs run smoothly and your child has a positive experience, we are asking that all parents and children read, understand, and adhere to the Lincoln PTO Code of Conduct.

 

Please note that there is no School Nurse at Lincoln for PTO Clubs that occur before 8:00AM and after 3:10PM. If your child has specific medical needs, please communicate directly with the club sponsor.

 

PTO-sponsored events are facilitated by volunteers and instructors solicited by the PTO. D90 personnel are often not in attendance or on the school premises.
